Fulda is absolutely worth a visit ... The historic old town ... Especially the town hall ... The cathedral and the monastery ... up to the magnificent castle with the beautiful castle garden ... Hard to believe that Boniface was commissioned here Christianization of the Teutons once began in the Catholic Church ...

Measured against the beautiful city, the Fulda train station is a real eyesore. In the evenings there is almost nothing but drug addicts hanging around here. You should urgently hire some hard-hitting security guards from nearby Thuringia.

Small but clean bahnhof. The DB information counter is very helpful. You can find a cafe and doner shop inside. Just outside there is a small shopping complex with mcdonalds if you want to grab a bite. The city itself is small but very green and surrounded by hills.

Fulda is a very beautiful city, especially the old town and the area around the cathedral invite you to stroll. Fulda also has very nice little bars that invite you to linger

Clearly arranged train station, the information of the local traffic had no network maps with bus stops in stock. We were kindly referred to the castle, which is closed today, Monday. As a traveler, you hope for information at the train station. I found what I was looking for at Bonifatius Platz near the information desk. There were free city and public transport plans and information from the tourism and congress management

Not necessarily worthy of a baroque city. Everything a bit older. The many small shops in the area are good.

Pretty busy station. You have to hurry for getting the connecting train. Pl be careful about the platform number. Don't hesitate to seek help from the official standing near you. If your time is very short please ask any person showing your ticket.
